Amanda Criste is currently a Resident in Counseling and National Certified Counselor in
Virginia. She received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Arts in Forensic and Legal Psychology from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. Amanda has experience working with individuals dealing with a variety of mental health concerns, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment issues, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
Amanda ascribes to a Person-Centered theory of counseling. With this approach, she assists
clients in regaining their natural resilience. Amanda believes that every individual has within them what is necessary to reach their full potential.
Amanda is under the supervision of Monica Chwojdak, LPC.
